Money is not all in life. We can have riches beyond our wildest dreams, but what does that serve if we are poor in spirit? A balance is required. It is possible for each citizen of the world to have sufficient for a comfortable life. At the moment this is not happening. There is great inequality in the world and so unnecessary! Where is the spirit of community to help each other to share and advance forward all in the world? I tell you that when each and every one of you has achieved greatness of spirit there will be no more poverty. The world will be in balance like the living organism that she is. People will be healthy in Mind, Body and Spirit and able to blend with Nature which is their forgotten heritage.

It is so easy to forget ourselves in the pursuit of riches. We forget to enjoy the journey on the way. When is enough, enough? How much money do you actually need? Could you consider living a comfortable and affluent lifestyle, but channelling the rest into good works?

There is nothing wrong with money, it is a tool, nothing more. As many of you know, a lack of money can be very painful. However, for the majority it requires merely a shift in perception to appreciate the difference between need and desire. Most of you already have everything you need, but what do you want? Sometimes the out of control ‘wants’ are making your lives more complicated so that you have to run ever faster to catch up with yourselves.

Step off the treadmill for a moment. Take a while to listen to yourself. The inner self that can only be contacted by being quiet and directing oneself inwards. Here you will find what you really need. What your soul needs to make your heart sing; to find those untold treasures and delights. Organise your life so that you and your partner have time to do this. It may mean less financial rewards, but if the journey through life becomes a joy instead of a misery, who’s the winner?
